Who We Are

Agape (which means “Love” in Hebrew) shows the great love that was shown to mankind by God on the cross of Calvary. For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Begotten Son JESUS that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have the gift of everlasting life (John 3:16, The Holy Bible).

The Agape Christian Fellowship Church is a congregation located in the city of Manchester, United Kingdom. Pastor Tomy Kurian is shepherding the Church. He is married to Merlin, and they are blessed with three children, Kenneth, Bennett, and Timothy.

The church is blessed with a thriving Sunday School, Church Elders, Worship Team, Mission team, and Prayer teams.

The Church is blessed with children of all ages, and we have a Sunday School with around 40 children and about 8 competent teachers. The kids learn Bible-based songs and principles of the Word of God in these classes. Children are afforded the opportunity to be Students as Believers, paralleling the atmosphere provided at regular educational institutions. We want to raise up a generation that glorifies God!

The Sunday Services are enhanced by Area cell Meetings around the Manchester city, wherein believers gather at each other’s homes for Prayer Support and Bible Study. The goal of the church is that church believers are rooted in the Word of God and that each one is supported through sincere prayer and emotional support. In addition to Worship and Prayer Meetings, the church also organizes events and programs that encourage Christian Fellowship. Among these are the Christmas Outreach programs, church day  outings,  and residential outings.  The youth of Agape church proactively support all operations of the church. We deploy our operatives toward any effort that God’s people may require. We recognize that youth is the best age range to serve God with all vigour. Thus, for such a powerful machine (church) to function for the Glory of God, we believe that it must be well-oiled and dearly maintained. Hence, we have prayer meeting every Saturdays in order to serve  the  spiritual  needs of the congregation. We have sisters and brothers meeting, youth meeting, and fasting prayer. This is held on Saturdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, where we meet and are revived in the presence of the Lord.

The formation of our church, initiated not too many years ago, has gained momentum and has led to the growth of a vibrant Christian community based on Biblical principles that prides itself on its unity and is yet humbled by the journey through which God has led them, as a group and as individuals. The Agape Christian Fellowship continues toward winning and embracing souls, regardless of colour, race, and ethnicity, building a spiritual family of believers, and serving God with all of our strength, all of our heart, all of our soul, and all of our mind.

We give opportunities for all church members to grow and we always encourage and require willing individuals to help build the Kingdom of God. We have a mission to undertake, a purpose to fulfil, a people to serve, and a God to glorify!
